The Garden of the Lord

Image
"For the Lord will comfort Zion...and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the Garden of the Lord" (Isa. 51:2) God made the first garden and only His hand Commands the rain and sun That quickens the seed, the heart of the flower, Only His will is done. Thus we rejoice in the green of the year; Offer thanks in the golden glow; Sing praises when the bough is white With soft, new fallen snow. In a garden we touch the hem of His robe; In a garden we make our prayer; We can open the gate, whatever the season, And walk with the Master there.

Strawberries

The strawberries were abundant this year! We froze gallons of them! We invited friends and family to come and pick. They went fast! Strawberry Jam....yummy!

Garden Cart

Gotta love a husband who can fabricate cool 'toys' using recycled junk! Hank has made many things for me, but this is my all time favorite! It is light weight and swivels easily. I use it for just about everything!

Na-Ma's Camp Site

Image
Woo Hoo! Love my new 'camp-site'!! I bought this little vintage Cardinal Deluxe Camper and set up a fun spot to camp with the grandchildren! Love it! Even my teenagers and their friends are enjoying the fire pit. They already had an all nighter over the week-end. I will camp with one of my grand-sons this week! I can hardly wait!

Pink Promise

Image
Hank grows such beautiful roses here at Heritage Home~Place 'farmette'. A favorite is Pink Promise dedicated for breast cancer survivors and those fighting to overcome their breast cancer. When he bought Pink Promise we had no idea that we would have someone so very close to us with breast cancer. My mom is beginning her fight against breast cancer. Mom loves roses! The lovely scent of a rose is like a prayer going up to God for strength and power to overcome cancer. I love you mom!
