New Year 2013

Welcome to the New Year 2013!

The New Year is here!  The year 2012 was filled with so many blessings!
Looking back over the past year was not 'worry free' by no means.
But, I 'choose to see' the good all around us.
The Blessings of Family and Friends!
The Blessings of Health and Wellness!
The Blessings of Good Days!
The Blessings of Home!
The Blessings of our Heavenly Father!

We wish you a prosperous New Year!

Christmas Memories

Christmas Baking and Candy Making!

Do you remember standing on a chair at the table helping make the
Christmas Cookies and Candies?
Baking with the children is a sweet memory in my heart.
A tradition that they carry on now with their children!
There's still a 'child's heart' in each of us.
Let's remember to not squelch the Christmas Spirit by trying to
make Christmas 'perfect' and let the little hands help with the fun!

Check out some of our selected Christmas Cookbooks among our Cookbook selections!

Abundant Living

I Love Simple!
Too many things in our everyday life is so complicated!
When our thoughts are so focused on the complications of everyday living
we forget to think on the 'simple' enjoyments of life.

Our family is no different than any other family.
We have good days and bad days.
We make wrong choices, take wrong turns and completely miss it!
But, thankfully each new day is fresh and new!
New choices, new turns and new direction!

I have been 'mildly' blogging for several years.
I enjoy sharing our life with others.
I enjoy connecting with others and learning from them.

Our life is in constant change.
Our children are growing up and giving us grand-children.
Our jobs have changed.
Our goals have changed
Our routines have changed.
There is change around every corner and turn.
But there are some things that have not changed, but have gotten stronger.
Our love of our family.
Our dedication and love to our Lord.
Our love to our friends.
Our love of living!

As we begin the final month of the year 2012 and gear up for a new year,
I encourage myself and others to meditate on this scripture:

Philippians 4:8
'Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just, whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report,
if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy---
think on these things!'
