For the Love of Fall

Image
Autumn in Missouri is full of vibrant color!  It is my favorite time of year!  The cooler weather is fabulous after a hot, humid summer.  It is a time to put the gardens to bed, wake up to a vibrant sunrise, enjoy fall bonfires with the family, crunch in the leaves with the grand-children, take that final end of season camping trip with hubby, hike through the woods and enjoy the wildlife....just a few memories of autumn!   Look at this vibrant sunrise!  Glorious! Just a few of the grandchildren enjoying the leaves!   It is amazing how very quiet a deer in the woods can be.  End of season camping with hubby!  A bittersweet ending of camping.  Already looking forward to next year's camping trips!    Sitting by the fire at the end of a beautiful fall day is so relaxing.  It is a great time to reflect on the many blessings of the day.   Our autumn season is now moving toward the winter season.  Not my favorite season, but still a beautif

Little Cabin in the Woods

Little Cabin in the Woods There is nothing like getting away from it all.  Hubby and I did just that!  We celebrated our 41rst Wedding Anniversary in a remote little cabin in the beautiful woods of Arkansas!   The narrow, winding road that led to the little cabin was a mile off the main road.  It was a beautiful scenic drive to get to our destination.  You can't get any more secluded than that!    Did I mention that the little cabin was located on beautiful Beaver Lake!  Absolutely Gorgeous!!!  Sunrise over the lake!  Fisherman Hank Hubby loves to fish.  He did not have any luck the whole time we were at the cabin, but he had fun anyway.   I loved the cabin!  I enjoyed relaxing with hubby and taking lots of pictures of the wildlife and scenery.  The fall colors were popping! A big thank you to Cheryl Rutledge owner of Little Cabin in the Woods for a wonderful experience!
