As we begin a new season, we are putting together new
 "The Herbal Life" 
classes/workshops that will 
cover many topics concerning
 health and wellness.
Our classes/workshops are scheduled as
 all day 'come and go' events two times a month.

Fall is a beautiful season here on the home-place. 
We love sharing the variety of colors and fragrances 
in the gardens!


We love spending time in the gardens
watching the birds, bees and butterflies.
The hummingbirds will be leaving us very soon.
The finches and other birds are feasting on 
the bountiful seeds from sunflowers, coneflowers and zinnias.


We have various 'settee' spots for everyone to enjoy.
The vintage camper spot is a favorite area to
visit with friends and family.
The vintage camper is also a learning center
for children. 


Hubby's Chickens are right in the middle of the gardens.


Colors of Fall!


I grow many herbs in grow bags.


I love sunflowers of all sizes!
A favorite is the Teddy Bear Sunflower!

Winter Health

  Winter Garden The gardens are beautiful in every season. I appreciate living in the mid-west where we have all four seasons to enjoy. Winters can be harsh here in Missouri, but they are also beautiful. I like to go with the flow of the seasons with my health and wellness path. Winter is a great time of nourishing rest for our bodies. Winter is the season for eating slow foods and drinking nourishing hot drinks. I am a certified herbalist. But, I do not re-invent the wheel when it comes to herbal education. I love to share other herbalist information. Sowers of Good Seed

  Heritage Home~Place Wow! It has been a very long time since I posted. Last year the world was going through things. We also did not have any classes throughout 2020. We are grateful for a new year of blessings.  The gardens are in full swing here on our little farmette.  We have had a lot of rain in June....A LOT!  Amazingly though, the gardens are still producing their beauty and bounty. Throughout the course of COVID-19 shutdowns and  quarantines, there has been a lot of time for reflection. Many families were affected by the virus as well as the changes in dynamics of how we live.   It is now a time of renewal. Many things have changed, but, that is not necessarily all bad. Renewal of all areas of who we are...spirit, soul and body will give us a fresh start with renewed ways of living.
