What an awesome summer we have had! Lots of family visits and family fun! Fireworks, Camping, Swimming, Canoeing, Laughing and Loving! Here is a pic of me and two of my daughters on a canoe trip on the Niangua. We camped at Bennett Springs but launched our canoeing from Niangua River Oasis, Inc. They support Komen for the Cure with PINK canoes! A portion of the canoe rental goes to the Komen and if you make a donation, they will match it! How cool is that!!! Our team: "Kickin' it Up" for the cure walked the Kansas City Komen walk on August 14. It was fun! There was about thirty thousand people there! People with passion for a cure to breast cancer. Micah and Grace Aren't they just precious! My two grand-daughters are the youngest members of our "Kickin' it Up'' Team for Komen for the cure!
