Muddy Days are Here Again



Hank and I are trying to get the mud moved around. I had to dig a trench on the outside of the milk barn to release trapped water. Hank laid a perforated tube and covored it up. Hopefully this will help keep the water drained out of the milk barn. Mud pies anyone?







We moved Babe into the Goat pasture while I moved old hay into the Goat enclosure pen. It was so muddy. This is our 'glamour shot'.

Herbs and Health in the Kitchen

The 'hearth' of the home is in the kitchen! Spending time in the kitchen preparing meals with the family is a wonderful way to build relationships as well as make delicious healthy foods! Hubby is the main chef in our kitchen. I like to make healthy food variations to add to his wonderful meals! I'm always making cultured foods such as: Kombucha, Kefir, Cultured Veges along with many recipes made with these cultured basics. I also love making Sour Dough Bread along with various recipes using this delicious bread. I think by far my favorite things to prepare are Herbal Teas and Herbal Medicinals! Winter Health

  Winter Garden The gardens are beautiful in every season. I appreciate living in the mid-west where we have all four seasons to enjoy. Winters can be harsh here in Missouri, but they are also beautiful. I like to go with the flow of the seasons with my health and wellness path. Winter is a great time of nourishing rest for our bodies. Winter is the season for eating slow foods and drinking nourishing hot drinks. I am a certified herbalist.
